Exclusive Hire of Pentrehobyn Hall

Pentrehobyn Hall

Pentrehobyn Hall is a Grade 1 listed Jacobean Manor just inside Wales, near Chester, and about a mile from the market town of Mold. It is an imposing yet comfortable family home that can be hired exclusively for a weekend away with friends and family, or longer if required. More than just a weekend retreat, this private country house can host whatever you are celebrating whether it is just a family get together or a special birthday celebration or small intimate occasion.

The house, which dates back to 1625, can accommodate up to 14 guests and will provide you with a wonderful venue in a very private setting to entertain your guests. There is an oak-paneled central hall, complete with family portraits, a large drawing-room and dining-room both with open fires, perfect for entertaining. There are four double bedrooms and four bathrooms on the first floor with a further three double bedrooms (two of which can be twins) with two bathrooms on the second floor. Pentrehobyn is very much a family house to provide your guests with whatever type of weekend, or stay, they might prefer in unusual historic surroundings and in complete privacy with freedom and flexibility to host your special occasion.

Pentrehobyn is approached down a tree-lined drive and is surrounded by some 100 acres of land belonging to the Pentrehobyn Estate to provide complete privacy. There are some 3 acres of garden within the house's surrounding stone wall, while beyond the Llettai, there is a Victorian walled garden, also facing south, with a central lawn. Beyond that is the 17th century Coach House. The extent of the land round the house leads down to the River Alyn.
