Pentrehobyn Hall is a Grade 1 listed Jacobean Manor just inside Wales, near Chester. It is an imposing yet comfortable family home that can be hired exclusively for accommodation for a weekend away with friends and family, or longer if required. This private country house can host whatever you are celebrating – whether it is a family get together, a special birthday celebration or a small intimate occasion.
The house dates back to 1540 and can accommodate up to 14 guests and will provide a wonderful venue in a very private setting. There is an oak-panelled central hall, a large drawing room and a dining room with open fires, perfect for entertaining.
Pentrehobyn is approached down a tree-lined drive, surrounded by 100 acres of land belonging to the Estate to provide complete privacy. There are 3 acres of garden within the house’s surrounding stone wall, while beyond the Llettai, there is a south-facing Victorian walled garden with a central lawn. The land around the house leads down to the River Alyn.
There are four double bedrooms and four bathrooms on the first floor with a further three double bedrooms (two of which can be twins) with two bathrooms on the second floor.
Guests may choose from self-catering within our fully-equipped kitchen or special menus prepared by our fine caterers and served by waitresses in our Dining Room.
